The Colombo International Tea Convention organized by Colombo Tea Traders's Association together with the Sri Lanka Tea Board is scheduled to be held from 01st to 03rd February 2012 at Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo.
In the past, all Tea conventions hosted by Sri Lanka had attracted delegates with varied interest from around the world. At the last convention held in 2007, more than 100 foreign delegates and 300 local participants attended. The year 2012 marks 145 years of the Sri Lanka (Ceylon) Tea Industry.
